This Tour starts by picking you up from your Auckland Hotel or cruise ship terminal. We will enjoy a two-hour scenic drive from Auckland into the rolling green hills of the Waikato district, with scenic stops for amazing photo opportunities while wee make our way to Hobbiton.

There are 44 Hobbit holes in total, all of which were reconstructed in 2011 for The Hobbit trilogy. This time the holes were made out of permanent materials, so the set can continue on as a tourism attraction.
